Hello parents, I am happy to say that I will be your child's teacher. This is my second year teaching in Sanger Unified School District. I am very excited to be starting at a new school with all of you.
After graduating from Clovis High School I started my college education at Fresno City College. At Fresno CIty College I received my Associates degree and transferred to California State University of Fresno. At Fresno State I received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. I continued my education at Fresno State and received my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential there.
This is my first year teaching first grade. I started my teaching career in Kindergarten and continued on with many of my students to first grade. I am excited about this opportunity because I know that first grade is a very crucial year. Students are expected to progress quickly in academics and also social skills.
A parents participation and interest in their child's education is very important. With your support at home and at school together can make this a very successful year for your child.
